Providing Comfort & Support for Grieving Families
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…”
Isaiah 61:3
You Are Not Alone
Our Mission
We aim to comfort and support grieving families facing the devastating loss of a child. By providing essential financial assistance, compassionate grief resources, advocacy, and education. At Sincerely Sarai Foundation, we ensure no family walks through heartbreak alone, turning pain into purpose and mourning into meaning.
Our Services
-
We provide financial assistance to families who have recently lost a child, helping to ease the burden during this difficult time. Our support covers burial expenses and other costs associated with a child's funeral, allowing families to focus on healing and remembrance without added financial stress.
-
The Sincerely Sarai Foundation partners closely with funeral homes, hospitals, and counselors to offer comprehensive support and essential resources to families during their time of loss. Our collaboration ensures that grieving families receive compassionate guidance, mental health support, and access to community programs designed to help them navigate the emotional and practical challenges they face. By working together with trusted professionals, we provide a network of care that empowers families with comfort, understanding, and meaningful assistance throughout their journey.
-
Grace Beyond Grief is a monthly support group designed specifically for parents who have lost a child. This compassionate community offers a safe space where members can connect with others who truly understand their pain, sharing experiences and finding comfort in mutual support. Led by individuals who have personally navigated this profound loss, the group provides empathy, encouragement, and healing through shared stories and collective strength.

Raising awareness about Gaucher’s disease and other rare diseases is important for better understanding, early diagnosis, and proper care. These rare conditions are often missed but greatly affect those who have them. By sharing the challenges faced, we can encourage research, provide support, and build a caring community to improve lives. Together, we can bring attention to rare diseases and help those affected get the support they need.
A message from Founder & CEO | Meakeal Streeter
Sincerely Sarai Foundation was founded in 2024 by Meakeal Streeter after her daughter Sarai died at two from Type 2 Gaucher disease. Sarai developed normally until age one, then regressed with a firm abdomen. Initial medical concerns were dismissed, but further tests revealed enlarged liver and spleen and low blood count. After 21 days in hospital, she was diagnosed on September 21, 2016.
